Who I Am
With over 17 years of writing experience and 15 years of editing experience, I work with words and sentences on a daily basis. Working on a novel myself, I recognize that editing is the most crucial and important part of the work – and it can also be the most overwhelming.
I pull from my strengths and skills and tailor them to your needs. I help you break down the editing process and help you discover what it is you are looking to achieve in this part of your written work’s journey.
What I Do
As a fiction writer at heart, I practice the written word with my own work on a daily, which includes narrative and scene creation, extensive research for accuracy, and dictionary and thesaurus searches for just the right word.
As an editor, I bring this experience to others by offering a variety of stylistic editing, copy editing, and proofreading services. I also offer suggestions, options, advice, and encouragement when needed.
Who I Do it For
Editing fiction is my specialty, and I edit for authors of fiction content of all types and sizes. I also assist writers of memoirs and non-fiction.
I also can assist writers of newsletters, articles, websites, and other promotional works, and I currently work in a furniture store writing and editing their product listings.
What I Charge
I am reasonable, and charge a set standard rate based on the type of work and the estimated time required.
I will always customize my services based on the needs of my clients, and offer budget-friendly options.
