Two Steps at a Time

Set in 1941, this coming-of-age story told in the perspective of three teenagers in a foster home follows Audrey, a soon-to-be debutante who begins growing closer to the family’s supervisor Sean; Will, a troubled boy haunted by a past that makes him believe Sean had hurt Audrey; and innocent Carlo, who is determined to find out what really happened before Will drives Sean away for good.
